Magnetic knife strips - I keep acquiring knives and have no place to put them. I need to ditch my knife block and hang my knives up on the wall using a magnetic knife strip. I'll need a couple of them....this is the one recommended by Cook's Illustrated:

bought a cheap version of this at Aldi--best kitchen purchase ever.
I got a brand new pressure canner last spring and after using it all summer I can tell you it was the best present to myself ever! I've never seen a cast iron popover pan but we make our holiday dressing in an iron skillet and it makes ALL the difference!
I haven't started a Christmas Wish list for myself. I think I'd like an Amazon gift card, as there are a few gadgets I'm keeping my eye on.
I need to get rid of my knife block also! That thing takes up way too much counter space!
