Mine is well decorated with spots and stains and memories.<br /><br />Agree - a wedding day is the fastest day imaginable, even for parents. It gives new meaning to 'time flies when you are having fun'. :)<br /><br />As parents of the groom, we took small 4 oz. jars of our own honey as wedding favors. I just purchased a copy of that Ball canning book last week and I love how straightforward it is. I am trying to get up the nerve to do some bona fide canning this summer, but have almost no experience with it. Trying to work up the nerve . . . not quite sure what type of food I should start with, though fruit/jam seems like the logical choice.
